Protecting your jewellery

First, it's important to remove your jewellery when participating in activities that can cause damage, such as showering, swimming, sleeping, exercising, or applying makeup, cosmetics, perfume, oils, and moisturizers.

The science behind your piece

Our Gold Vermeil jewellery is crafted with a thick layer of 14k solid gold plating over a 925 sterling silver base, making it hypoallergenic. This type of plating is up to 3-4 times thicker than standard plated pieces, making it suitable for daily wear. It's important to note that our pieces do not contain nickel, and over time, your piece may develop a beautiful rose gold tone.

Metal against metal

When layering multiple necklaces or pendants, it's important to be aware that metal rubbing against metal can cause wear on your pieces. Please note that The Ari Edit will not be held responsible and won't offer a refund or exchange in the event of this happening.

The PH of your Skin

Everyone's body chemistry is different, and some people's perspiration and body oils are more acidic than others. As a result, your jewellery could experience discolouration or oxidation over time. Jewellery Storage

To ensure your jewellery stays in perfect condition, we recommend storing it in a dry and well-ventilated area. Our signature The Ari Edit boxes are perfect for protecting your jewellery during delivery or when gifting to a loved one. For daily storage, avoid moisture and allow your pieces access to free-flowing air. You can achieve this by laying your jewellery flat in a designated dish or by hanging it on a hook.
